I'm sure it's a bug. It does have a drum beat. One of the cool things is u can controll the vollume of the other instruments. So you can turn off guitar and just jam with bass and drums. I set the beat to Jazz and practice II, V I progressions like this and it helps train my ears to hear the changes with just a bass in the background and no guitar. It's a big help!
