Jun 5th, 2007
In my never-ending search for free guitar tools online, I have come across five free guitar tools that will be of great benefit to any guitar player. These guitar tools will improve your practice sessions and overall knowledge of guitar in a great way. So check them out.
1.The first tool will give you a chord chart for any chord on guitar in almost any position on the fretboard. Just choose the chord you want and presto! An instant chord chart! Check out this tool in the Guitar Room (easy).
2. The next free online guitar tool that I found is a scale finder. This tool is truly amazing. It will tell you the notes and fingering for almost any guitar scale in existence in any key. Just choose the scale and the key you want. It’s that easy! There is also a section to choose a chord, so you can learn almost any arpeggio on guitar as well. I don’t think there is a better resource out there. Check it out at the Guitar Room (advanced).
3. The third free online guitar tool that is really amazing is a free online metronome. The using a metronome is essential to getting better at guitar. And this free online metronome is great for practicing guitar in front of your computer. While this may not be a substitute for buying a metronome, it will fill in the gap for those of you who have not bought one yet. Check out the free online metronome at www.metronomeonline.com
4. and 5. The next two great guitar tools are on this site. The free online guitar tuner is a great tool for keeping your guitar in tune when you practice. There are also a variety of different guitar tunings to choose from. The last tool is the Chord Finder. Just tell the chord finder what frets and strings you are playing and it will tell you all the possible names for that chord. This is a great tool to find out what the chords are that you dream up while experimenting on guitar.
I hope you take advantage of the free guitar tools listed above. Make sure you bookmark the pages so you have no trouble finding them in the future!
