		<description>I think maybe a quick overview of Diatonic Harmony would be helpful and make the numbers make sense. As you may know, a major scale has the same intervals no matter what note you start on. From the root note, the intervals are: whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, whole step, and half step.
