Languedoc Guitars Now For Sale
Jun 16th, 2007 by admin
Paul Languedoc, the maker of Trey Anastasio’s (Phish) famous guitar is now selling guitars to the general public. These guitars are really sweet and if you listen to any Phish, you know how great they sound. There are a few models for sale and they are all built after you order, so you know you are getting a great new guitar.
(Update) According to the site Paul will be selling his guitars for $10,000 including a hard case. That sounds like a lot of money (and it is), but these guitars are custom built. Paul estimates that each guitar is 130 to 150 hours of labor. If you add on materiels to that $10,000 is not an outrageous price for such a finely crafted guitar. I think I may have to start saving up. Check out more information at www.languedocguitars.com
Paul quotes 10K (including case) at the very bottom of one of his pages.
if you read the website you will see that all his guitars sell for $10,000 including case and shipping within the US, which is a reasonable price for a top of the line custom axe.
Thanks for pointing that out guys. I must have missed that part. I guess I am going to have to save more than i thought. Now this trick will be how to hide my savings from the wifey
