He has some acoustic work, though I'm not a big fan of Steve Vai but he there is no denying that he has some really good skills especially in the technical area. He played with Frank Zappa and not everyone got to play with Frank, he had high standards regarding his musicians. I'm more of a blues jazz kind of guy but I still feel that this is a masterpiece of a solo and has great feel, at least in my opinion. | instant tax solutions scams

This is a common view on Malmsteen, but reserve judgement until you have given the Alcatraz outing he played on "NO PAROLE FOR ROCK & ROLL". This is a raw young kid with plenty of feeling & style. In fact I know Vai worked damn hard to follow up his place in Alcatraz with his own diamond outing, "DISTURBING THE PEACE". Which is a great hint of the Vai to come. (if it's not quite as flexable!)

Simon,
Thanks or stopping by my blog. I must say, I am actually not such a big fan of Malmsteen. I liked for at one point for a few weeks, but then i got over him real fast. There is only so much shredding Can take, especially when that is ALL a guitar player does. I didn't find his playing to have much feeling. And speed players are a dime a dozen. Anyone can practice with a metronome night and day and become blazing fast. But not everyone can make great music and play with great soul. And that's what really counts for me when I like a guitar player.

But thanks for the post and thenaks for the videos. I hope you stop back some time. thanks!

I love Vai. I actually saw him on this tour. I'm pretty sure that this was the tour where Adrian Legg opened the show. He's an amazing acoustic player. Certainly worth checking out. Thanks for the post.
