For this week’s Great Guitar Video I want to show you one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite shows from one of my favorite guitarists—Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Live at the El Mocambo. I own this DVD and it is one of the best shows I have ever seen. The guitar on this DVD is unreal and I would say it is a must have for any SRV fan, or blues guitar fan (maybe even every guitar player).

This SRV video shows what true guitar mastery looks like. So sit back, relax, and try not to soil yourself as you lose complete control over yourself as your soul drifts out of your body and goes to guitar heaven:

Bluesing your Bends -video

Many guitarists know how to bend strings. But not all guitar players put a lot of thought into their string bending. This guitar lesson will show you how to add a bluesy, soulful sound to your string bends. Try incorporating this banding technique into your playing.
